Introduction

You look up from the letter clutched in your hands and gaze around the room - the many shelves that line the walls are cluttered with reminders of your previous adventures and vivid pictures of those experiences spring to your mind as you gaze at them.

On the far-left shelves lie an abundance of small trinkets and trophies - amongst which a smallish disc, evidence of some past encounter with a computer or two, glints in the sunlight. Next to it a crumpled medical certificate gathers dust, whilst a pair of tongs cross handles with a rusty pair of pliers.

On the right-hand set of shelves are stacked various articles of clothing - some galoshes, an apron and a pair of comfy slippers, to mention but a few.

But the main shelves are in the centre of the far wall and they creak beneath the weight of their burden. Stacked in abundance are such items as a tiny silver whistle, a wallet, a feather duster, and even a space-suit.

All of these items were used in the many previous adventures and without them you would never have been able to complete the task-in-hand. So, even though they now lie disused and forlorn, they were once items of great importance and not to be considered lightly.

Lowering your eyes back to the letter, you continue to read and to digest the information contained in its pages.

The Story So Far

It had been much like any other day until the postman had rattled your letter-box and the usual collection of brown and white envelopes dropped through on to the mat. As usual most of them were bills and circulars but one dog-eared envelope attracted your eye and this was the one that was to lead you on your next adventure.

Tearing open the envelope you had began to read the letter within and were surprised to see that it was from an ancient tribal-chief. Seemingly he had heard of your ability to solve adventures and was requesting your assistance in solving yet another one.

His tribal-heirloom had gone missing - the Golden Key of Klef - a key that it was said would unlock the door of a vast treasure-room filled with more precious gems than the eye could take in in one glance. Just how could you refuse a "challenge" such as that...?
