The Island Logic Music System (Island Logic)
It would be extremely difficult to improve on this package... It's extremely user-friendly, and sensible default values are included everywhere to save unnecessary typing.
Epson NLQ (Watford Electronics)
A good piece of firmware that makes good use of the Epson's printing capability to provide a performance comparable to that of more recent printers.
Dump Out 3 (Watford Electronics)
It works with mode 7, but it is the slowest graphics and text dump (in machine code) that I have seen to date! If you haven't got a printer dump on ROM, then this is worth considering along with Printmaster.
An excellent product.
A sneaky feature of Quondam is that some commands appear to work first time, but in fact need to be repeated several times to achieve the final effect.
The Art Of Microcomputer Graphics (Addison-Wesley)
A very substantial compendium copiously filled with programs, diagrams and illustrations, including sixteen pages of full colour plates... For advanced programmers with a thorough grounding in mathematics, this book is probably definitive.
Soft Computing (Addison-Wesley)
Not at all an easy book, but one which raises a number of interesting ideas.
