The game's playable but nothing original, so there is very little to recommend it. Read Review
For a game written in Basic, it is pretty sharp programming which I've come to expect from ISP. Read Review
Perhaps BBC owners are spoilt but I now expect more colour, excitement and better graphic definition from arcade games than this. Read Review
There are too many keys to juggle with and you often seem to die for no apparent reason. Read Review
Human civilization is threatened by the approach of alien Battle Planets - huge spaceships the size of planets that can destroy whole worlds. Earth intelligence has discovered that these seemingly invincible Battle Planets have one vulnerable spot - located in a trench on the planet's surface.
Your mission is to fly into the trench and against apparently impossible odds launch a plasma bolt into the Battle Planets' heart.
On your journey down the trench you must avoid the oncoming Robot fighters by weaving left, right, up and down or shoot them.
Above the trench other Robot Fighters will bombard you with energy bolts. Your only defence against this is your force shield.
If you're still alive, then the robot's commander joins the fight. He relentlessly pursues you down the trench. He is invincible - you cannot destroy him and he only fires his energy guns when you are directly in his sights.
You have three plasma bolt missiles on board. A plasma bolt will temporarily blind the robot commander. Remember you must save one plasma bolt to destroy the Battle Planets.
Operating your shields and firing uses up energy. If your energy drops to zero or you miss the final target you will be destroyed.
