You have been chosen as a player in the Ballistix challenge.

The fastest game in the Universe, only those with swift reactions, extraordinary judgement, and skills of a true professional are chosen to take on the current champion.

Victory can be yours; but only if you're fast enough!

Winning Level

To win a level you must score three goals before your opponent has time to score the same.

You score goals by firing balls at the Puck (large red ball) driving it into your opponent's goal. However, should the Puck be travelling too fast, it could ricochet out of the goal mouth which counts as a no goal!

Points from 15-85 are awarded for each goal dependent on how good it is i.e.: goals scored from the centre of the playing arena score higher.

Additional points can be gained by shooting bonus point tiles and collecting a full set of "RICOCHET" letter tiles.

Whether you choose the one or two player option, the overall objective is to get the final "VICTORY" screen with as high a score as possible.

Once you have become a super Ballistix player you may choose to start at a higher level. Just punch in the password and the choice is yours... Happy shooting!

Game Controls: Firing

The keys to move the positions of the firing arrows and to fire balls are redefinable (by pressing the C key) before commencing play. Initially the keys are defined as:

BBC:
Player 1: Z - Left, X - Right, Q - Up, A - Down, TAB - Fire

Electron:
Player 1: Z - Left, X - Right, W - Up, S - Down, Q - Fire

Game Options

From the title screen, the first level of the one player game is selected by pressing the 1 key, the first level of the two player game is selected by pressing the 2 key.

Once the password is known for any subsequent level, in either the one-player or two-player game; that level can be selected by pressing the P key, and then typing in the four-letter password.

S/Q (when game is paused) - Sound On/Off, SHIFT & ESCAPE - Quit Game
