To get much enjoyment out of this, you need to be familiar with the Ar Nosurge series from the get-go. And by that, I mean, you already know the main characters, and you want to see what happens to them. If you're a newcomer, I don't think I can say that the combat, by itself, is enough to make the game worth picking up.
