Terminally slow. The idea of going into huts makes the map a little more interesting but I felt that it had been slanted towards the younger player because no mature gamester would have the patience for it.
Dogfight 2187 (Starlight Software)
A pretty amazing bit of coding for two players. The only reservation is that as a one player game it's a bit simple.
As a budget game it is OK I suppose but now some of the budget games are getting very, very good it is overshadowed.
I didn't like this. The line drawing could have been smoother, and all the wonderful devices get in the way of serious shooting fun.
The Shadows Of Mordor (Melbourne House)
It plays better than part one, is true to the atmosphere of the book and will be enjoyed by all patient lovers of Middle Earth.
A surprisingly good game. Lots of thought has been poured into it, and it shows.
No instructions to wade through - just grab your joystick and go. There may have been loads of games like this before, but the reason for that is that they are fun.
