It's not often I'm amazed by a new program for the Amstrad machines, but I am truly amazed by Starion.
Macadam Bumper (ERE Informatique)
This is a pinball table construction set and, apart from having a small board size, I don't really have any complaints.
Brian Jacks Superstar Challenge (Martech)
This is one of those joystick destroyers. It's not as exciting as the Daley Thompson version and seems to be trying to run on a non-existent wave of fame.
There's a lack of attention to detail throughout this program... It leaves you wishing the author had taken a few more days and tidied things up.
This game certainly gives you something to keep trying at, but whether it's skill or bugs I'm not quite sure.
Boulder Dash is incredibly addictive, the strongest 'Just one more game and then I'll finish' I have ever come across.
This game is both addictive and frustrating and will keep you amused well into the early hours.
Southern Belle (Hewson Consultants)
I'm sure that this simulator is more true to life than many of those other genre, but perhaps that is also its major failing.
