Good value for the most part, and an irresistible package for the hardened martial arts psychonutters out there.

Switchblade (Gremlin)

One of the most bodacious, inspirational, outstandingly cool CPC games available. Totally addictive from the word go.

Superskweek (Loriciel)

It's Skweek with knobs on, but the extra on-screen action frequently slows the whole thing down to a plod. You get more game, but less playability.

Edd The Duck (Impulze)

A cute platform puzzler, and contains enough laughs and surprises to keep all but the fussiest gamesplayers happy.

Total Recall (Ocean)

Although the game follows a somewhat tired formula, it is polished and exciting enough to make it rank among some of the best film tie-ins ever.

Super Monaco Grand Prix (US Gold)

At first, it seems too slow and jerky. Give yourself time to get into it though, and you'll find there's an exciting game under the bonnet.

Toyota Celica GT Rally (Gremlin)

Difficult to fault apart from the tricky control, but not really all that exciting.

F-16 Combat Pilot (Digital Integration)

Fast and fun... must be one of the slickest flight simulators around!

Bat (Ubisoft)

The graphics are truly excellent... This level of presentation is present in all aspects of the game, and the whole thing looks like just about the most professional product ever on the CPC.

Gunboat (Accolade)

Refreshing and original, it makes a change from arcade conversions... And, despite the daunting manual, simpler than it first seems.

Jaws: The Last Studhorse (Megamag)

I haven't given the game any ratings as I don't speak French so I'm not sure of its quality! It looks good - but for all I know its parser and puzzles could be poor.

Grue-Knapped (Atlas Adventure)

One of the best games I've played in quite a while! But note that in this game, objects are never what they seem.

Talisman Of Power (WoW Software)

The best word to sum up Talisman Of Power is average. The parser is unfriendly at times as well.
