Super Sprint for the '90s. A brilliant blast but with an added hint of adventure.
An extremely playable game... Will have gamesters of all kinds stuck to their CPCs for hours, especially when two players join in the fun.
A fast-action puzzler that will get you hooked - but will it keep you going?
It's not going to grab you straight away. Dedicated wargaming fans will persevere, though.
Golden Axe is graphically quite pretty, but the gameplay is a bit too slow and jerky to retain the excitement of the arcade original.
Difficult but rewarding horizontal blast. A Spectrum port with a banal colour scheme but neat scrolling.
A low-quality conversion of a rather poor coin-op. It's very repetitive, chock full of minor and screen glitches and the overall effect is nothing short of abysmal.
Bold and original, but badly flawed in its execution... A large and potentially fun mission marred by frustrating gameplay.
