Realistic racing of the highest calibre. Features a car you must learn to drive.
An excellent package of individual games that unite to tell a story in such a way that the pace never flags and the bullets never stop flying.
Competently programmed, but a bit too difficult perhaps for all but the most enthusiastic tennis fan.
True classics... The graphics look as if they go back to the stone age... but who cares? These games started it all - with playability that you'd be hard pressed to find in many more modern games.
Test Drive II: The Duel (Accolade)
With so many car games, more is expected from both graphics and gameplay than ever before. Test Drive II unfortunately doesn't deliver on either score.
Its title alludes to the peculiar madness that was the Vietnam, but the lunacy is not translated into gameplay, leaving a rather run-of-the-mill, if thoroughly competent, war game.
Thrill Time: Platinum 1 (Elite)
Let's hope that Elite's retrospective phase is but a breathing space before it throws itself wholeheartedly into the world of new games once again.
Beautiful and, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best golf sim ever on a CPC.
