It has that something, though I don't know what, which makes it quite an addictive game.
Airline features excellent use of graphics, simple instructions and a fair degree of financial realism.
A Hardware Guide To The BBC Microcomputer (Wise-Owl Publications)
There's quite a lot of useful information in this book, and generally speaking it is of a good technical standard.
BBC Micro In Education (Shiva)
The book contains some useful programs and routines for error-trapping, 'user-friendliness' and easy-to-read instructions, and as such would be invaluable to a teacher who already knows BBC Basic and wants to write his or her own educational software.
Assembly Language Programming On The Electron (Addison-Wesley)
I commend this book to anyone (not just Electron users) who wants an easy introduction to machine code.
Databases In The Classroom (Castle House Publications)
An excellent book which covers a subject not normally dealt with in most schools.
Slick! (BP Educational Service)
As a piece of educational software Slick! teaches a variety of skills, from decision-making to map-reading and grid references.
