Avoid like a razor-coated iceberg!

Yetisports Arctic Adventures

Totally pointless. Yetisports is already a series of popular, free Internet Flash games (check out www.yetisports.org) but Arctic Adventure attempts to turn the simple, 'lunchtime-penguin-whacking' action into an EyeToy game. And it's atrocious.

You've got six games, four less than the Web version, and they're clunky as hell. The basic fun of the online originals has been replaced by complicated and tedious controls. In baseball, for instance, you have to wave one hand vigorously to build up power, then swing the same hand across your body, then use your arms to guide a flying penguin. Worse, it's imprecise, making it hard to judge when the game will pick up your movements.

EyeToy: Play 2 has four times as many games, and any one of them is better than Yetisports' entire joyless collection. That's all you need to know.

Verdict

Dull, bland and uninspired, Yetisports is an unfriendly exercise in making yourself look like a complete idiot.
