The third in the Doom series, this finds you in the company of a crew and your very own robot dog; Topologika thoughtfully provide a build-your-own-dog on pink cardboard, presumably in case you get lonely on your journeying using your imagination.
One of the best things about these games is the realism - if you get lost in a dense forest, for example, you can't just retrace your steps and get out, you get up getting completely and utterly lost. The aim here is to attempt to save Doom with the help and hindrance of spaceships, robots and a ruined city - it's pretty tricky in places but very absorbing, and completely huge. Unfortunately, it looks as if it's been rushed as there are several typographical errors.
Free on this disk comes Hezarin, coincidentally the same name as the world which is unhappily held in the grip of an evil tyrant. Well, that's what the packaging said - and as is typical of these adventures you have to go and help the inhabitants out.
