If you love bowling, you'll hate this

Strike Force Bowling

If you must make a bowling game (and we'd rather you didn't!) at least make one that works. Strike Force Bowling doesn't. Aim far enough to the right and you can ignore the power and accuracy meter, and the ball will automatically spin back in line with the pins. This happens every single time.

Desperate to spice up the bowlerama experience, Strike Force also offers Challenge and Golf modes. Challenge mode is dull, merely starting you off with one pin and adding another until you fail to knock them all down in a single throw, but Golf is better. It gives you a different formation of pins each time and scores you on a golfing-style stroke basis, but you're not given any idea of your score until the end. We recommend you save that tenner and leave Strike Force Bowling in the gutter.

Verdict

Cheap and cheerful, with a fairly decent variety of gently amusing environments. But is that really worth your time or your money? Hint: No.
