Spy Vs. Spy

Although it's a budget game based on a world-famous comic strip (from Mad Magazine - y'know, the US satire mag they often mention in The Simpsons), there's nothing comical about Spy Vs. Spy. Multiplayer pulls four combatants into an arena, while single-player involves sluggish platforming. You can make a few tactical decisions - such as laying booby-traps - but usually you'll be spraying bullets into opponents. We'll eat our own shoes if there are ever enough people online to fill a four-player game, and multiplayer levels are often too big or too basically designed.

The game might be cheaper than most, but it's still far too expensive for what you'll get in return.

Verdict

Overall 30%
Playing on your own is dreary, playing with others will leave you friendless - and the 'hilarious' attacks wear thin in minutes. Spy Vs. Spy simply isn't worth investigating.
