In years gone by we relied on the floppy disk to transfer data. Back then 1.44MB was more than enough. These days with people having digital images, MP3 files and the likes we need better means of transferring files. The advent of USB storage media is a welcome invention.
This device from Sony simply plugs in to a spare USB port. Windows recognises it as a removable storage device and installation is done. This version is 32MB in size and is simplicity itself to use. Just treat it as you would any other drive on your PC, files can be added and removed and then taken away. It measures roughly 4 inches in length and about an inch in diameter so will easily fit in your pocket. Two small LEDs flash when the device is in use. I cannot remember the last time I used a floppy disk to transfer data. Whilst many of us use CDs these days the USB storage media is a far handier, simpler and reusable piece of equipment. Well worth investing in, although you could get lesser branded devices a bit cheaper.
