SingStar Bollywood

Don't be intimidated by SingStar Bollywood. You don't have to know the language, or even the words, to enjoy the songs.

It's aimed squarely at Bollywood-loving families and is very tuned-in, although Sony has stopped short of going the whole hog and releasing the whole game in the original languages.

Yes, all the lyrics are in phonetic English, meaning you can actually hum (or hiss) your way through the entire game and still come out golden balti.

Singstar Bollywood

If you do speak Hindi or know the real lyrics to the tracks you'll actually find it a tougher game to master, because you end up holding back, forced to keep within the constraints of the game language. Although this means the whole family can play, it'll inevitably grate with hardcore Bollywood fans.

You And Filmi

You can't fault the presentation though. With its legendary Bollywood tracks and cool tantric fonts, this baby rocks the post-Big Brother circuit in a big way.

And with a song list that spans the last couple of decades, be prepared to arm-wrestle your niece and your nan for a go on the mic!

Verdict

All the classics are there, but they feel watered down because of the language.
