A father and son have teamed up to produce a simple, colourful paperback for BBC users who find other programming books hard to grasp.
This book offers an insight into what can be achieved with the BBC. There are, of course, many books introducing programming, but in this one Richard Graves and his 11-year-old son, David, clearly appreciate the difficulties of learning to program and explain ideas in an easy-to-understand style. By the end of it you should be able to write simple programs, use number and string variables and produce sound, colour and graphics.
At £2.50, this is a valuable book for the beginner.
