Pro Soccer 2190

"When the action starts, be ready," it says on this box. Well, I sat and waited but try as I might I couldn't spot the action. Pro Soccer 2190 claims to be a futuristic football game which enables you to either play or coach a team in the World Soccer League. However, rather than being futuristic it looks and plays like something out of the stone age.

When the players run around the pitch, their legs move like the clappers but their bodies warp across the screen, appearing and reappearing like a bad pint of beer. You can of course skip watching the matches or playing in them and simply coach a team, and this is an infinitely preferably option - but still infinitely boring. A game like this would embarrass a Spectrum owner.
