Extending its Beasty family, Commotion's (01-804 1378) latest device is an infra-red remote control system. The infra-red Beasty comes with a manual and software for under £50 and is available for the BBC, Spectrum and Commodore 64. With its eight channel interface, the device is compatible with the Beasty arm and Mobile base (issue 75) and will control up to eight servo motors to a range of six meters.
You can see the remote control system in action at the High Technology and Education Show, Barbarican Centre, London from January 23 to 26.
