Having tried the save/load routines for the Memotech in the November 17 issue, I have discovered that the computer carries on making noises even after all the data has been transferred to tape.

To stop this, try inserting the following lines of code after the CALL £AAE instructions:

LDA, £9F
OUT(6),A
INA, (3)
