Microba

Microba is a pretty straightforward Mode 7 text adventure, except that it takes place inside the human body!

Of interest only to budding biologists and those teaching them, Microba wouldn't make it past our reviewers on the games pages, either for elegance of phrase or number of locations. However it could be a useful reinforcement device or talking point for a biology class learning new terms.

The adventure is menu-driven. You choose whether you want to be swallowed or inhaled and proceed appropriately. At each location you are questioned as to the technical name of your whereabouts. You get one attempt only. It's a bit of fun and a useful addition to the pattern of teaching these biological terms.

However the price of £6.00 disc, £5.00 cassette seems a little high for such a straightforward program.
