Certainly it's better than the first instalment. But that doesn't necessarily equate to good. Instead, it's a by-the-numbers co-op third-person shooter with heavy cover mechanics. I'm not sure the solution for the issues that plagued the original was to take them all out. The actual gameplay here is pretty bland and uninspired.
