Gaelic Games: Football

A good craic? No. Broken? Oh yes.

Bad. Not the sport of Gaelic football - which, once you've got the rules, is a pleasant enough pastime - but this wonky representation, which should be kept away from your PS2. Don't be fooled by the numerous authentic kits and teams; this is awful.

Instead of running, your players - or rather, the badly drawn stick men who don't respond to your commands - stutter around like they need a dump. Urgently. Computer teams do baffling things like kick the ball off when under no pressure. Goalkeepers are terrible, even when shots go straight at them. And the crowds are statues - they never move. Perhaps they're all in shock at the horror of being in such a terrible game.

You'd have more fun trying to play the sport for real while handcuffed and blindfolded than you wil here. Avoid it like The Corrs.
