It's kind of comforting to know that games like this still exist. Ten years ago, we'd pronounced janky, dated RPGs pretty much dead, and yet, ELEX II could be, charitably, described as an AA experience of such a genre. I don't personally see the appeal of it at all, but if you still play RPGs, it'll be everything you're hoping for.
