Summary

There's a brief moment at the beginning of the game, when your characters are adrift at sea, when it seems Atelier Shallie Plus isn't going to be like any other Atelier game... and then you hit dry land, and it reverts to the same broad formula. Again, it lives up to the standard set by its predecessors, for better and for worse.
