Around The World

Floppy Shop have got together with the Pixel Shop - more famous for their budget releases under the name of the Happening Boiz - to release this, which is their first commercially available arcade adventure. And it's pathetic. Really it is.

You play a blobby chap called Phineas who has to trawl around 40 levels looking for diamonds and other things to collect while avoiding rockfalls, toxic waste and your best mate Wayne who kills you on contact.

The problem with this game is, well, everything really. The plot's hardly original, the control method is jerky and unresponsive and you can see better graphics on a hole-in-the-wall cash machine. Why don't you give the another go, eh, lads?

Verdict

This is a totally disappointing and dull game which is about as addictive as getting buried in a drawerfull of smelly socks.
