Interesting strategy game that has you donning the somewhat perilous guise of a bomb disposal officer. As is your luck, you've been called to defuse one of those old wartime devices that are dug up with such alarming regularity. Even worse, it's not one that you've seen before and so you'll require all your skill and ingenuity to defuse it. Hairy stuff!

Just choose the correct items from your toolkit and decide what course to take. The program enables you to view the unexploded device from three angles before choosing from a menu of actions. Will you lift the bomb upright with the hydraulic jack or clout it with the copper hammer?

Nevers of steel are a necessity. Should you manage to make any headway at all, a help routine becomes available to guide you through the trickiest moments. I most certainly will not be taking up bomb disposal work full time.

Almost every move I made resulted in a loud raspberry which rather symbolically denoted my premature end. Still, for those of a methodical (not to mention suicidal) nature this might well provide amusement.
