Tiny Ed the alien is gong to beef up!
Tonic Trouble
Ed is a tiny, weedy-looking extra-terrestrial who has had a bit of an accident. While cleaning his spaceship, he threw out a can of his special tonic. Oops! The thing fell straight to earth and into the hands of the Evil Grogh. He's used it to turn all the animals and vegetables into his evil minions and is now the vile, beardy ruler of the world.
Only Ed can save them! He has to rescue the Doc, who is the only person who can reverse the effect of the tonic. He's been imprisoned by his own robots and Ed needs to collect enough keys to unlock the doors and release him.
Ed has to trek through three danger-filled worlds to get to the Doc, collecting loads of pick-ups on the way round and running into plenty of trouble. There are rivers of lava, violent vegetables and poisonous gasses to get around before he reaches the end, so little Ed's got a pretty tough time ahead of him! Luckily for him, he's got Agent XYZ popping up to give him some handy tips that will help him out with his quest.
Tonic Trouble is a cheery, chirpy little game with top, bright graphics and some nasty-looking enemies waiting to be defeated. Each level is packed full of quirky platform action and the missions have plenty of items to collect, barriers to get over and enemies to avoid. The graphics are really colourful and that cheeky little Eddie can cheer you up with his chirpy grin any day!
Second Opinion
Or you will be in trouble if you start playing this game because it's so addictive! Tonic Trouble has a similar graphic style to Ubisoft's other Game Boy marvel, Rayman, with bright, colourful sprites, gorgeous backgrounds and lots of animation.
The game boils down to being another platform romp, but if you thrive on this kind of thing, you're going to love Tonic Trouble!
