One of the main difficulties in "educational" software the right mixture of challenge and interest. Without either of these, the child soon loses interest. "Three Games For Children" (not the greatest of titles) scores highly on the former but falls down rather on the latter.

The program loaded first time and then offered a choice of three options - counting shapes, spelling colours or, rather strangely, typing.

Counting shapes draws some nice geometric shapes onto the screen and asks how many of each there are. Spelling colours produces three large numbered shapes and asks, in turn, for the child to spell out what colour they are.

The final game appears to be rather out of place on an educational tape.
