They're all alone on an island!

Stranded Kids

This new role-playing adventure from Konami is in a similar vein to the classic Legend Of Zelda that all Game Boy Color owners must know and love.

The intro tells the story of a young child (you get to choose whether they are male or female) and his dad. They take a boat ride to celebrate the kid's tenth birthday, but things go horribly wrong and the poor child ends up stranded on an island - hence the title of the game!

An island can be a scary place, especially when you're only just ten years old. Our brave adventurer has to put up with killer bees, biting foxes and clams that give you a case of the runs - and that's before you get off the first level!

Stranded Kids

The aim of the game is to be rescued, and using small but perfectly formed graphics in the Zelda-style, the game trots along at a good pace. The difficulty level is set so that Game Boy beginners can get on without too much to worry about. Stranded Kids is the perfect introduction to RPGs!
