Quite honestly Speed King does not deserve a place on the same starting grid as Super Cycle, especially in the graphics stakes.
You get a choice of ten circuits to race on, three skill levels and nineteen opponents.
There are six gears to master on the bike, each controlled by a backwards or forwards movement of the joystick.
Acceleration or braking is achieved by pressing or releasing the fire button.
As for the nineteen other riders, I didn't really see much of them - except as they disappeared into the distance! I spent most of the laps swerving from side to side, or skidding across the grass. Really quite difficult to control; save your pennies for the full price game.
