This game is a brilliant combination of adventure playing and fast arcade-style action. It all takes place aboard a spaceship populated only by some extremely unfriendly androids. You take the role of a rather relaxed looking astronaut who docks with the spaceship and makes his way round, searching for crystals. It's nice to see an adventure game in which things really happen instead of being told that they're happpened.

The animation of the astronaut and the deadly android adversaries is impressive. The astronaut has two weapons at his disposal, a phaser and a blaster. The former lasts longer, the latter carries a heavier punch.

The androids fire pretty quickly and accurately and in practice it is often necessary to get to close grips to destroy them. This has its dangers. Power packs can be picked up along the way and used to boost life-support, phaser and blaster. The crystals reside in locked rooms around the ship and the keys to these rooms have to be picked up on route. There are three levels which are entered through one of the two transporter rooms.

The graphics are of a pretty high standard and the way the androids dematerialise is especially likeable. Sound enhances the action as you battle it out to get to the next room. One small anomaly concerning the controls exists between the title page (where the Z and X keys are the wrong way round) and the instructions. This shouldn't cause any problems or deter you from enjoying this fun game.
