Mystic Mansion

Something here from the Apparition's Liberation Front. Mystic Mansion rehabilitates the media profile of the average ghost by making on the hero and champion of Truth, Justice and stuff. You play Whitecap, a shape-changing ghost who must travel through the afore-mentioned pile collecting treasures (for subsequent redistribution to the poor?).

The ghost is manoeuvred using the joystick and can change into a gun when the fire button is pressed. Releasing it fires the fun, something you have to do often because the rooms are inhabited by a variety of monsters. These are all pretty boring-looking monochrome sprites, but having zapped them doesn't mean you've solved the room's secret.

Each room is an individual problem, and you may have to do a fair bit of thinking to get to the treasure, including a hammer, key and a spade.
