Rescue Willi the bee... he's been taken hostage by the hornets for honey!
Maya The Bee: Garden Adventure
To bee or not to bee. Do you want to be a bee? That is the question! If you do, then Maya The Bee: Garden Adventure is the game for you. The graphics are clear and crisp and the distinction between the hornets and the bees is apparent - the hornets are bigger and more colourful! They have kidnapped your pal, Willi.
Make A Beeline!
You must search around the garden for honey - the sweet, sticky stuff is the ransom demand of those evil hornets. Why the hornets can't collect their own honey is beyond us. Although, they've done us a favour really because, without them, there would be no game!
This is a happy game because it brings back memories of summer. The flowers are out and so are many insects - both memories of the sunny time of year. The game gets more colourful and interesting as you play on too. The hornets are sly, nasty creatures, so don't believe everything they say! Getting the honey does not guarantee Willi's release!
Maya Help You?
There are more friendly insects as you progress through the levels, such as a grasshopper aptly called Flip, a fly called Puck, a mole and various wasps. All of these creatures can help you on your mission to "free Willi"!
Maya The Bee is a simple game with a storyline that will appeal to the younger Game Boy Color player, but it's not a game that's going to win any awards for originality!
