Forget monsters! Check out this Looney Tunes-catching game!
Looney Tunes: Martian Attack!
Marvin the Martian is one of the coolest characters ever to walk the earth (or Mars for that matter). Sadly, he suffers from a tendency to zap creatures with his laser gun and capture them. Come to think of it, he was probably playing Pokemon before we had even heard of it.
We were hoping for a Pokemon-style game starring Marvin, but Martian Alert is more an RPG than a catching game. You control Bugs Bunny as he tries to prevent Marvin from blowing up the earth.
Mad Martians!
On his travels Bugs meets plenty of other Looney Tunes characters and they all team up to stop Marvin in his tracks. Each character has different skills - Bugs can jump, Daffy Duck can swim and Elmer Fudd has a gun - and you'll need to collect each of the different characters to get through the game. Not only that, you also get to collect artwork of hundreds of different characters throughout the game.
There's even six two-player games and you can trade characters with your friends via the Game Boy's infrared link.
Martian Alert is a truly original adventure game that mixes the masses of Looney Tunes characters up in a huge adventure. If you've ever played Zelda DX, you'll feel right at home with this - and recommendations don't come much better than that!
It's a maniacal, rip-roaring adventure that's packed full of loads of cool Looney Tunes characters. It's great fun playing as Bugs, Dafy and co and you even get to collect artwork of loads of minor characters too.
Above all though, Martian Alert is a huge, good-looking adventure that is guaranteed to keep you going for ages!
Second Opinion
This crazy game is just great fun to play and has a wide range of puzzles to challenge everyone. The collectability and trading of characters is a unique idea and will make you want to capture all those mad characters!
