I suppose there's no reason why a fruit machine should not be referred to in the feminine gender, because that's all the program is - yet another fruit machine.

As with other forms of gambling in real life, people can get addicted to playing fruit machines. But that is when they stand a chance of winning the jackpot in hard cash. Without the cash incentive there is very little to hold the attention of a player.

Even with the stake printed onto the screen this program has very little to hold the attention of the player. It might have been a bit more interesting if there was some kind of simulation of the reels spinning. As it is the display is very flast. The only thing that did hold my attention was the sight of the "money" dropping into the slot. I have sen people give real fruit machines a kick up the payout chute when they got frustrated. Heaven knows what they would do with a machine of this kind. The only way I could get any money out was by gambling, and not always successfully.
