Invasion Aus Dem Weltraum is the German title for Space Invaders, and this is the Colour Genie's very own version of the early Eighties arcade game.

You control a laser base and must hide behind the barricades at the bottom of the screen, dodging the rain of bullets from the invading aliens. It's a fairly fast game, with graphics that are nothing special but mimic the original. The only problem I had with it was, when you get killed, it insists on scrolling the playing state all the way down the screen for no reason at all!

As with the original, the invaders start so low to the ground from level three onwards that it's practically impossible to get much further. So, hmmm, not much in the way of lastability. Good for a a few goes...? Well, maybe one. Perhaps.
