This program draws a hi-res map of Europe and then asks you questions on various topics to test your knowledge of Europe. You have the options of answering questions on countries and capitals or combinations of both. Alternatively, you can elect to load in an extra data file which sets questions on identifying the seas.
Before starting you decide how many attempts will be allowed for each question. Questions are set in the multiple choice format and require just a single key press to answer. The country being referred to in the question is highlighted on the main map or if it is a sea is pointed to by an arrow. If your answer is wrong, you are shown the actual location of the country or sea you chose, and in the case of capitals, the country which that capital belongs to. If after your allocated number of attempts you are still wrong, then the correct location of the country is pointed out to you.
That's really all there is to this program. It's easy to use with nice graphics and has a good educational value. Of course for home use it has a limited life span but for school use should make geography lessons a fair bit more interesting. It is certainly the best program of its type I have seen to date for the BBC and Electron.
