The object of Danger Uxb is to race against a time bomb to stop it exploding. The bomb appears randomly inside a matrix of small blue squares and you have to land your man in that square by running and sliding across the squares before the countdown reaches zero.

Whilst racing to the TNT you have to avoid the booby-trapped skull and crossbones marked squares and stamping boots which chase you. To gain extra points you try to run over the bonus flags. On the successful completion of three frames there is a chance to obtain a bonus score or you can drop on a random flag at the bottom of the screen.

This game has to be one of my favourites at the moment. It contains superb graphics, flicker-free and very smooth. There is a good responsive keyboard action. What makes the game really good however is the excellent use of music for the introduction and the score table. There is an excellent little tune played on what sounds like a banjo - very realistic. A superb and very addictive game.
