Cruncher

You have wandered into a very strange land full of timebombs, flags and bovver boots. Your task is to avoid being crunched by the blue bovver boots, and to trample instead the flashing time bombs which are counting down to zero.

You lose one of your lives if a bovver boot gives you a bill, or when a time bomb explodes. Failure to trample the time bombs will result in them blowing you up - don't worry though. I found it dead easy to avoid this.

This offering from Virgin Games is, I'm afraid, boring. It is so easy to avoid being crunched by the boots that the game has no real challenge of any sort. Things are supposed to be made difficult because you are not allowed to traverse the path you have come from, yet the scroll feature of the game ignores this. The result is that the game has very little excitement.

So if you fancy reaching scores of over 100,000 with very little effort on your part, then Cruncher is for you. However, if you don't like getting bored quickly, give it a miss.
