I want to break free-ee... I want to break free!

Chicken Run

Every year there are a number of new television shows and movies which spark ideas for new videogames. This has happened a lot more just recently, and a long list of 'big name' characters have been making debuts on your pocket-sized Game Boy. Earlier this year Chicken Run was a huge box office success and before Santa has had time to par his sleigh, the videogame has arrived.

Flee The Coop!

Mac the mad scientist prepares you for your mission, then it's up to you to guide your fellow chickens to safety. Using small piles of chicken feed, you can lead your feathery friends around the pitfalls and obstructions of Tweedys' Farm to make your way to the exit and freedom. There are twenty egg-citing levels to cluck your way through and each presents new items and puzzles to challenge your skills. The levels are well designed and spacious, but not so big than you get lost finding your way to the exit, making it a great game to pick up and play when you have a little spare time.

Metal Gear Chicken!

The control is simple and three difficulty settings have been included to challenge players of all ages. The strange blend of stealth, strategy and puzzles brings back memories of Metal Gear Solid and offers intense gameplay right from the very first mission. Although development time has been reasonably short, the game is fantastic (Why can't all games be made like this?).

Chicken Run

The film was ace, and the game is too! Go buy it, you won't be disappointed.
