In essence the program consists of six games, each aimed
at emphasising a particular aspect of counting. The games
appear to be written for pre-school and reception class
children.
The games ranged from a mediocre number recognition
routine to a highly entertaining game using nice animation.
They used the right approach of rewarding success while
gently correcting failure.
One example game asks the child to match the number of
honey jars to a number of bears. The correct answer resulted
in happy teddies eating their honey. The wrong answer left
hungry teddies.
The use of graphics was good, and emphasis was placed on
objects which appeal to young children (e.g. teddies, boats,
trains, trucks and houses). Several of the games used either
animation or moving objects and were generally well-programmed.
