The caped crusader's equally caped and crusading protege has flapped onto the Game Boy Color!

Batman Of The Future: Return Of The Joker

Batman Beyond is a bit hit in the States. Following the adventures of a young man destined to step into Bruce Wayne's tattered old tights, this game entres around that nasty old Joker and his attempt to stage a comeback at crumbly old Bruce's expense. Which means you've got to walk to the left a lot and press B.

Holy Fish Fingers!

This is an uninspired Double Dragon-style scrolling beat-'em-up that looks and plays worryingly like a Spectrum game. You make your way around different levels, randomly punching and kicking the living daylights out of strange animal mutants an avoiding electric flames and stuff like that. There are short bits of plot built into the adventure, and maze-like exits and entrances, but otherwise it's simply a case of facing a hoard of identical foes and stabbing the B button.

Punch, Kick...

The graphics leave a lot to be desired, and it's difficult to keep any interest in the action further than level two. However, if you're a total Batman freak then you're bound to bash your way through the whole adventure. But we'd rather you than us, to be honest.
