Arithmetic Fun-Time

Elementary addition, subtraction, multiplication and division exercises providing valuable practice and drill for your children who are developing their basic mathematical skills.

Uses colour graphics and sounds to give a good presentation with the sums appearing in large letters on a blackboard.

The computer plays back sums which the child has difficulty with showing the child the correct solutions.

Uses the Basic TI-99 console.



How To Play
-----------
1. Choose the type of sums you wish to do.
2. A blackboard appears with a sum for you to answer.
3. Type your answer into the column indicated by the tilde.
4. Press ENTER when you have finshed your sum.
5. To cancel an incorrect input, press C.
6. To change your choice of sums, or end the game, press Q.
7. You have two chances to get the answer correct, and if wrong you lose all the points you have scored.
8. Try to complete as many rounds as possible.

1. Switch on the power on your TI-99
2. Press any key to continue
3. Type 1 to enter Basic
4. Make sure that the Alpha Lock key is down.
5. Type in OLD CS1 (ENTER)
6. Follow on-screen instructions.
7. Press PLAY on recorder. *READING will be displayed.
8. The program will now load; wait approximately four minutes; if the program is OK the message *DATA OK will be displayed.
9. Stop the cassette. Press ENTER.
10. Wait about 20 seconds.
11. Type in RUN.
12. Wait about 20 secons.
13. Follow on-screen instructions.
