LOADING
To Load, press LOAD””. Press PLAY on your cassette recorder. The programme will now
load automatically. (The programme is recorded on both sides of the tape. In case of loading
difficulty, turn the tape over, rewind to the beginning and load again.)
STORY
The evil newspaper reporters are out for a ‘scoop’ and have sent an army of ‘nasties’ to stop
our hero from proving the safety and reliability of his C5 electric car.
 You have been chosen to drive the C5 in the British cross-country finals. You will need all
your skill and nerve to complete the 41 stage course and finish in 1st position, thus ensuring
our hero the front page story he deserves rather than the ‘scoop’ the newspapers would like to
print.
CONTROLS
1 = Slow left 0 = Slow right
2 = Fast left 9 = Fast right
1 + 2 = Very fast left 0 + 9 = Very fast right
Space Bar = pedal faster
There are two levels of play:
Learner If you crash, you lose one of your four lives and are returned to the previous
screen.
Poser In this mode, a crash will not only result in the loss of a life, but you will also
be returned to the start. (Screen 1). This mode is also slightly faster.
The main object of the game is to complete the 41 screens and 4 BONUS screens and finish
in 1st position. Your finishing position is given at the end of the game ONLY if the course has
been completed.
REMEMBER: It is important to pedal to attain 1st position on finishing the course. – GOOD
LUCK.
