Volcano

Introduction
------------
Flying your Emergency Rescue Helicopter on a routine
patrol, you suddenly receive a radio message to proceed
immediately to Mount Crona, a volcano on the east side of
the island. As it last erupted 150 years ago, Crona was
thought to be extinct but now it has erupted again,
leaving a number of sightseers stranded on the side of the
crater. In a few hours, the lava flow from the volcano will
engulf them and they will die! Without a second thought,
you turn your helictoper and fly to begin your rescue 
operation.

Complete with sound effects, full colour graphics and table
of high scores, Volcano is fully compatible with either
keyboard or joysticks.



The Game
--------
Guide your Emergency Rescue Helicopter to rescue four men
stranded on the side of Mount Crona, an erupting volcano.
In order to reach them you will have to fly over the crater,
avoiding or shooting the boulders that are being hurled from
it. Pick up a man by flying down to him and carry him back to
the safety of the bunker before he lets go and falls. When 
all four men are back, you will be given a more difficult
volcano to tackle.

Your mission is really a race against time because while you
are working, molten lava is pouring from the mouth of the 
volcano and running down the side of the crater towards the
stranded men. If the lava reaches a man before you can rescue
him he will die. Once a man is dead he becomes a ghost; deadly
but indestructible!



Game Controls

Z - Left, X - Right, : - Up, ? - Down, RETURN/] - Fire

Q/S - Sound Off/On, ESCAPE - Restart Game

The helicopter can also be manoeuvred using the joystick
controller. Press the fire button to fire missiles.



Scores
------
Picking up a man 	250 points
Returning a man to the bunker	500 points
Destroying a boulder	1 point

Once you have completed the first volcano, some of
the boulders hurled from the crater will be gold. These
gold boulders will give varying high scores when hit.

You start the game with three helictopers but you will 
receive a bonus helicopter for every 5,000 points you score,
up to a maximum of three at any one time.

A table of the seven highest scores is displayed at the end
of each game.
