The Quest

Game Objective
--------------
You must find the Grail, which is hidden in one of the chambers. Finally a clue: "The gargoyle knows!"


Modes Of Play
-------------
In this game there are two modes: the general mode and the movement mode.

A. General Mode
---------------
There are four commands in this mode.

1. Move on. this will transfer you to movement mode.

2. Elixir. An elixir may be taken to boost one of your six ratings (food, drink, strength, stamina, intelligence and dexterity) to 100 points. If any of these drop to zero, you will die.

3. Update. This will give you a report on the status of the game.

4. Exit. This command will give you four options.

i) Start a new game
ii) Save the present game on tape (ensure that you are not recording over an existing program
iii) Load in a new game from tape
iv) Quit the program


B. Movement Mode
----------------
You either move on into the chamber of your choice or, if you have a lamp, you can examine the chamber before entering it.
