The Thirteenth Task =================== Your Task --------- You are Hercules, that hero of classical times. As you may know, he was given twelve harsh labours to perform by Eurystheus, a ruler of the land. Hercules completed all these tasks without fail. But now he has been given another - The Thirteenth Task...! As Hercules, your Thirteenth Task is your most difficult and dangerous yet. You have been charged with the task of killing Hades - the ruler of the Underworld, and thus winning his crown for Eurystheus. Whether you consider this right or wrong is immaterial - you always obey your master. Thirteen has always been an unlucky number, and this situation is no exception. Many of the problems you faced in your previous travels will reappear to dog your quest with misfortune. What's more, you'll have to prove your worth before gaining entry into the Underworld - people usually have to be dead before they can get in... The Adventure ------------- This text adventure accepts the standard input format of a verb followed by a noun. To move about the land, use the verbs: NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST If you get stuck, try typing HELP. To find out how well you are doing, enter SCORE. If you come across something which is new to you, use the verb EXPLAIN. For example, EXPLAIN GRAEAE would tell you who the Graeae were. During the game, you will come across a bag. To place something in the bag, use the verb BAG. Thus, for example, to put a sword in the bag, you would type BAG SWORD.
