Trance Sector ============= Introduction ------------ 2012 Release... Your mission... Enter the Trance Sector and destroy it! Guide your ship around 32 floors of the Trance Sector, and pick up all of the nuclear pods that are stored there. Avoid the deadly seekers that patrol the Trance Sector and be wary of obstacles in your path. Good luck, pilot! The Story --------- Signals from a distant, unnamed planet have been intercepted by Planet Earth. These have revealed details of an intergalactic threat from a race that call themselves the Cygma Elite. A strike team has been mobilised and sent to explore the planet to find out more about the alien threat. The team has discovered that the Cygma Elite have built a series of factories that are producing radioactive nuclear pods. These deadly pods have been stored in a huge 32-storey facility called the Trance Sector. Reports from our team indicate the Cygma Elite are planning to use the pods stored in the Trance Sector to build the Cygma Armageddon Bomb, a huge bomb that poses a risk not only to Earth, but to the entire solar system! Your mission: Enter the Trance Sector and collect the nuclear pods from each of the 32 levels - this will cause a cascade reaction that will destroy the facility - before it destroys *us*! Obstacles --------- During the game, you will be faced a series of different obstacles or objects, which will take effect. The objects are as follows: Pods ... You pick these up Cyber Prison ... Traps your ship for a short period of time Magnetic Conveyor Belts ... You'll be stuck on those and pushed to a different tile or obstacle Blockers ... Huge walls which will destroy your ship on contact Seeker Switches ... Makes the seekers go fast for a short period of time There are also Shield objects, which will give you a temporary shield for a short period of time - but avoid blockers at all costs. You will also have a shield at the start of each level, and after a life has been lost. If you get hit by a seeker, time runs out or you crash into a blocker, a life will be lost. At the start of the game, you will be given five lives. It is possible to gain extra lives (See 'Bonuses'). If a life is lost, you will be able to continue from the level you're on. If however, you play the challenger's edition of Trance Sector, you will have to start each level all over again if you lose a life. Bonuses ------- During the game, a bonus ball will occasionally appear. The bonuses from the vall vary from a series of bonus, a seeker bomb (which will destroy the seekers) and also abilities to gain extra lives. Simply by picking up E, X, T, R, A, you will be able to see which ones you picked up, as they will be highlighted in white at the top of the screen. The blue E X T R A balls represent which letters (from the bonus ball) you will need to pick up.
